I love the science of yoga because it allows us to express ourselves honestly, freely and without judgement. I take the principles of traditional Hatha teaching an apply them to the day, the mood and the individual.
Yoga has taught me how to find stillness in a busy world and I believe whole-heartedly in the positive effect that it can have on people of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds.
Trained in traditional Hatha Yoga, I studied a 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Asheville, USA in 2015 through the Asheville Yoga Centre. First and foremost a student of yoga, I am always excited to learn and develop in my knowledge and have since furthered my yogic education with a 300 hour RYT course completed in 2017 through Samatva Yogalaya in Rishikesh, India under the careful teaching of Krishna Sikwhal. I have been teaching practitioners of all levels for 2 years now.
An avid mountain biker and hiker, I share a passion for the outdoors and adventure with peers in and around Nelson and feel so lucky to call this paradise my home.
