About me
Yoga Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher

I teach lighthearted & explorative classes, with the intention to create a non-judgmental & safe environment for all. I'm especially interested in the therapeutic aspects of Yoga and mindfulness, and tailoring them to individual needs to ensure accessibility for all.
My teaching objective is to encourage people to move out of their busy minds and into their bodies, to find inner harmony and move into a more restful state. My classes and self practice are focused around our intrinsic mind-body connection, and on ways to directly access the mind through the breath and nurturing the body.

I am a qualified Yoga Therapist and Teacher, and have explored a variety of different styles to deepen my understanding of Yoga. Teacher training qualifications include: Hatha, Ashtanga, Restorative, Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapy. I am also a qualified Mindfulness and Compassion teacher, level 4 trained and accredited by the Counseling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (UK).

I love biking, walking and being out in nature. I find spending time outdoors fundamental to my practice, health & happiness. I feel truly privileged to be living on the doorstep of this magnificent adventure playground!

Restorative Yoga

The radical art of Restorative yoga is a counter cultural thing to do. In a busy and striving world this class supports you to take care of yourself and restore any feeling of overwhelm and overdoing. Find ease and be guided through a deeply nourishing class that explores some gentle somatic movement to kindly connect with your body followed by tension releasing restorative postures. Your experience may be accompanied by guided meditation, poetry or yogic self-inquiry as well as an invitation to connect with the ground of simply being and silence.

These classes are welcoming, gentle, and at a pace that allows the student to connect with a natural breath and their own needs. All blankets and props provided.

Sam Loe and myself share the facilitation of this class.
Feel free to contact me with any questions about my classes.
