About me
I teach a slow flow beginners style class, suitable for all abilities. Designed to elevate confidence and calm whilst gently uniting body and breath. I recently returned home to New Zealand after 5 years living in Australia and travelling Europe and South East Asia.

I completed my Yoga Diploma (1200hrs) in Auckland – there I studied Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy and Physiology, Ayurveda, Asana and Meditation. I am deeply interested in the subtle ways the nervous system responds to yoga and the ability the body has to heal itself when relaxation is induced.

My classes are influenced by my many teachers - all of which have different backgrounds, deriving from lineages such as Satyananda, Iyengar, Hatha and Yin. I am also a Holistic Massage Therapist – layering my knowledge of Ayurveda and movement into my practice.

I am feeling deeply blessed to be back in Nelson and immersing myself in nature's offerings, I spend a lot of my weekends exploring the Marlborough Sounds and Golden Bay among other things I enjoy biking, dance, photography, painting, crafts and connecting with friends and family.

Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm

Revive and Restore classes typically begin with a seated meditation and end with a guided savasana. These are beginner styles classes that begin with floor based movement to focus on bringing awareness and strength to the abdominal wall - locating and relaxing the psoas muscle to attain alignment within the spine and then moving into a slow vinyasana flow.

Often class will end with a casual herbal tea circle.
