Sadly Wellness Movement has now closed due to the effects of COVID-19. Thanks to all who have supported us here over the last 3 years. Limited classes and practitioner services are on offer in our studios until the end of July - Kelsey for yoga, Liz for reflexology and massage, Penny for restorative exercise and Ange for herbal medicine.

About me
I have been practicing yoga, meditation and buddha-dharma since 2003 and teaching since 2011. My foundational practices have been Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (in the tradition of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois) and vipassana meditation (in the tradition of S.N. Goenka). In 2013 I began working with the rich teachings and practices of Vajrayana and have more recently begun a study of Taoist energy arts including Qigong.

My main teacher of buddha-dharma (abhidhamma, mahayana and vajrayana / dzogchen traditions) is Lama Mark Webber, whose root teacher was the Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche. My most influential yoga teacher is John Scott, who is a direct student of Pattabhi Jois. In addition, I have studied Qigong and Qigong Tui Na with Taoist lineage holder Bruce Frantzis. I have been given the blessing to teach dharma and meditation by Lama Webber and have completed Level 1 & 2 Ashtanga yoga teacher training with John Scott.

I live in Nelson, New Zealand with my partner and two young children. I integrate a full family life with a dedication to the practice and teaching of a universal path of awakening.
